Installation Manager

Manages team of installers who are responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing structures and major components. Responsible for scheduling and overseeing the installation of products. Ensures adherence to contract specifications and established policies and procedures. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.

Basic Function: Responsible for the overall management of the field crews and field installation performance, as well as for analyzing and planning major/complex installations and the refinement of work order packets prior to installation. 

Specific Responsibilities and Duties: 

Personnel: 
• Has responsibility for the field crews, their management, their performance, their development and their accountability for customer satisfaction and installation profitability
• In conjunction with the Operations Manager recruits, selects, hires, trains and develops essential personnel for the installation crews
• Handles field staff employee problems and disciplines personnel as necessary
• Conducts personnel reviews and recommends wage increases if appropriate Field Procedures: • Helps set field procedures; ensures field crews adhere to installation procedures and processes, including paperwork, material handling, work processes, etc. 
• Ensures that material handling is accurate and careful; that product paperwork is detailed and documented • Ensures that field paperwork and administrative activities are fulfilled in an accurate and timely manner
• Ensures that product assembly techniques are appropriate and consistent
• Ensures that the work process is standardized and performed in a similar manner by all crews and field personnel
• Ensures that customer relations and interface are professional and responsive
• Ensures that work rules and regulations are clear, understood and are enforced 

Analysis and Planning: 

• Reviews plans, specifications and sites as necessary, developing work plans and reviewing those plans with the field leads and crews
• Reviews work order packets for completeness and understanding, annotating those plans as necessary prior to distribution to the field crews
• Works with customers in the analysis, estimating and planning of installations
• Provides detailed installation estimates as required, including total hours, direct job costs and fixed quotes Installation Manager Job Description/Task Requirements Specific Responsibilities and Duties (cont.): Installation Management and Field Operations: 
• Oversees the management of field installations, ensuring that installations are on-time and complete, adhering to the installation schedule, work plan, estimated dealer cost and man-hours
• Works with crews to ensure that paperwork is timely and accurate; that all hours and actions are well documented according to company procedures
• Reviews field installations to ensure the highest quality workmanship; that product is assembled per plan and is leveled, aligned and plumb, cleaned and completely detailed
• Ensures that material is handled with care and that customer’s property is protected and undamaged
• Trains crews to have a responsible and technically adept interface with contractors, trades, electricians, cabling personnel, building management, etc. 
• Ensures that installations and all service work is closed out in a timely manner; that punch list resolution is followed up and finished to each customer’s satisfaction
• Visits field installations on a regular and daily basis, interfacing with leads and installation personnel, customers, and customer third parties, monitoring the progress and quality of the work being done by the installation staff Quality and Customer Satisfaction: 
• Establishes service standards of performance, and monitors these standards throughout the service operation
• Establishes customer satisfaction criteria and monitors these criteria for all service customers
• Encourages and participates in division quality processes and meetings, ensuring that on-going quality processes are being implemented and that continual improvement goals are being met 

Experience, Education and Skills Required: 
• Experience in managing all aspects of contract furniture projects and their installation
• Management skills to organize and direct the activities of multiple functions employing a fluctuating, but generally large staff
• Management and leadership skills to select, train, develop and coach a highly effective team of managers, field supervisors and field personnel

Architectural Detailer / Drafts Person Position . Full Time.

JOB OVERVIEW: 
The Architectural Detailer/Drafter is responsible for the development of project specific details and the preparation and coordination of clear, concise drawings. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
•    Develop construction details that comply with the overall design intent and project budget
•    Prepare complete and concise design and construction drawings including checking and coordinating details and dimensions
•    Conduct existing conditions survey
•    Research materials for specific projects
•    On going review and checking of the documents for accuracy and completeness
•    Assist in checking submittals and responding to requests for information
•    Coordinate and provide guidance to manufacturing shop on construction methodologies and installation
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
•    Professional Degree in Architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience
•    3 to 5 years architectural experience, except for those recently graduated from a professional degree program
•    Working knowledge of construction techniques and related coordinating details and dimensions
•    Experience in BIM model building for building construction projects or equivalent education background • Working knowledge of construction techniques and related coordinating details and dimensions
•    Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D Modeling Software

CNC Programmer / Operator (Woodworking)

JOB OVERVIEW: 
The CNC PROGRAMMER / OPERATOR is responsible for the programming and running of the CNC Machine (s). And the timely production of accurate parts to the required specifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
•    Set up, program and operate 4 Axis CNC machine in woodworking environment
•    Experience with Biesse, Skill 1536 desired, but not essential
•    Program and set up tool paths to create parts from Blueprints and 3D AutoCAD using Biesseworks and BobCAD
•    Prototype production
•    Check accuracy of work using drawings and precision measuring tools
•    May be asked to perform some carpentry/cabinetry
•    Work within a team structure to achieve Company and department goals
•    Must be flexible and willing to perform additional duties as needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
•    At least 3-5 years experience on Biesse or equivalent CNC machine in woodworking
•    Experience as a carpenter/cabinet maker a definite plus
•    Minimum education high school or equivalent. Some college preferred
•    Ability to read, interpret and manipulate 3D AutoCAD drawings
•    Ability to generate parts and program for CNC from AutoCAD drawings
•    Employee must be able to lift heavy materials in the shop to the CNC
•    Required to use and wear Personal Protective Equipment
•    Required to work with minimal supervision
•    Requires verbal and communication skills in English
•    Able to work extra hours and OT when needed including evenings and weekends
•    Comfortable working in fast paced environment
•    Good work history with excellent attendance record
•    Ability to multi-task and work within a deadline oriented environment
•    Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, working phone and email access

Local trade show/retail design and build firm is looking for a quality cabinet maker/lead carpenter or cabinet maker in training that is creative, detailed, responsible and ready to grow with an established company.
