Run Nike Women Series // Pre-15K Race Activations
The popular Nike women's race series hosted a 15K for the first time in the city of Toronto over the summer, with 10,000 race participants all able to experience fitness at is finest. We had the opportunity to activate a 30,000 sq foot tented "village" with everything runners could possibly need or want to prepare themselves for race day. Including: running analysis area, retail space, race day information interactive area and of course a DJ booth and stage for speakers to do their thing.
A key part of this campaign was the floating N+TC (Nike Training Club) inspired studio, called the Crystal Coliseum, which was activated on a barge to float on Lake Ontario, it was a beautiful light and airy space, with open views of the Toronto Islands as well as the occasional passing boat. The space was utilized to host thousands of running participants to sweat it out with 10 Nike master trainers who led intense gym workouts and training runs leading up to race day. Complete with a locker room and plenty of product to demo and check out.
Connecting to a global community of female athletes, #betterforit stands out as Nike's largest initiavite to support and motivate women's athletic journies. If you're brave enough to try, you're strong enough to finish.
